Product Recall Notice

Metalux® Optimized High Bay (OHB) Product Safety Notice

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Cooper Lighting is conducting a Safety Recall of certain Metalux Optimized High Bay (OHB) LED light fixtures manufactured and sold between April 2020 and May 2025. Based on a limited number of reports, the LED’s board can overheat causing the lens or nearby combustible materials to ignite, posing a fire hazard.

Additionally, in some instances, the LED’s board may not be properly secured, allowing the energized board to contact the lens or nearby combustible materials, posing a fire hazard. While the likelihood of this occurring is low and no injuries or claims of damage to property surrounding the products have been reported, Cooper Lighting is taking proactive action to repair or replace all potentially affected fixtures.

To schedule a repair or replacement, contact the recall hotline at 800-954-7228 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, visit Initiate Process or email [email protected].
